 AUTUMN ROSE FUJI

 PINK LADY CRIPPS

Pink Lady Cripps have a sweet taste and a firm texture. They keep well and are good for eating and salads. They are typically ready around September.

 AZTEC FUJI

Aztec Fuji are ready in November. They have a sweet taste and are great for eating, salads, baking and pies. If you would like to freeze, cut into slices first.

 BLONDEE

Blondee apples are typically ready in early September. They have a crisp texture and are excellent for eating, salads, pies and baking. If planning to freeze, it is best to cut into slices first.

 BUCKEYE GALA

Buckeye Gala apples are typically ready in early September. They have a sweet taste and are excellent for eating, salads, pies and baking. If planning to freeze, cut into slices first.

CAMEO

Cameo apples are typically ready in mid October. They have a tangy, sweet taste that can be very refreshing. Good for baking and keep well.

 MELROSE

Melrose are the official apple of Ohio. Typically ready late in September, Melrose apples are crisp and excellent for eating, salads, sauce and pies. They can also be good for baking. Freezable as sauce or slices.

 RUBY MAC

Ruby Mac are ready in early September. They have a spicy flavor and a tender texture. Excellent for eating and salads, as well as being good for sauce, baking and pies. Freeze well as sauce.

 CORAL STAR

 RED DELICIOUS

Red Delicious apples are ready in late September. They have a sweet, rich flavor and are excellent for eating and salads, as well as good for baking.

CRISPIN

Crispin apples have a sweet, juicy flavor and are extra crisp when you bite into them. Excellent for eating, baking, sauce and freezing, as well as being good for salads and pies.

 DANDEE RED

Dandee Red are ready in early September. Excellent for eating, salads, pies and baking. Freeze well when cut into slices first.

 JONAMAC

Jonamac are ready in early September. Excellent for eating, salads, pies and baking, as well as being good for sauce.

 JONATHAN

Jonathan apples are ready in mid September. They have a spicy flavor and are tender when bitten into. Excellent for eating, salads, pies and baking, as well as being good for sauce.

 EVERCRISP

EverCrisp apples are ready in mid October. They have a sweet, juicy flavor and store extremely well, holding their juice and keeping their flavor through the holiday season.

 JONAGOLD

Jonagold apples are ready late in the season. They are full of sweet flavor and are great for eating, baking, juice and cider. They keep well for 1-2 months.

 MARSHAL MCLINTOSH

Marshal McIntosh are ready in mid September. They have a spicy flavor and are excellent for eating and salads, as well as being good for sauce, baking and pies. Freeze best as a sauce.

GALE GALA 

Gale Gala apples are ready in early September. They have a sweet taste and are excellent for eating, salads, baking and pies. If freezing, they keep best when sliced.

GOLD RUSH

Gold Rush apples are ready in November. They have a tart taste and are excellent for eating, sauce, baking and pies, as well as being good for salads. Slices and sauce are the best way to freeze this variety.

 GOLDEN DELICIOUS

Golden Delicious (aka Gibon City) are typically ready in late September. They are full of a rich flavor and are excellent for eating, salads and baking, as well as good for sauce and pies. Best frozen as slice or sauce.

 GRANNY SMITH

Granny Smith apples are typically ready in November. They have a tart flavor and are excellent for salads, baking and pies. They are best frozen as slices.

HONEY CRISP 

HoneyCrisp apples are ready around mid September. They have a crisp, sweet taste and are excellent for eating, salads, and pies. If planning to freeze, it is best to slice them first.

 ROYAL COURT

Royal Court apples are typically ready mid September. They have a spicy taste and are excellent for salads, sauce, baking and pies, as well as good for eating.

PEACH VARIETIES

 AUTUMN STAR 

Autumn Stars ripen in mid September. They have good flavor and are extremely good for eating, baking and canning.

 CONTENDER

Contenders are ready to harvest mid to late August. They have a sweet taste and are great for eating, canning, baking and freezing.

RARITAN ROSE 

These sweet, juicy peaches are ready to harvest early in the season. They are great for cooking, baking, canning and freezing.

 CANADIAN HARMONY

Canadian Harmony peaches are an extremely juicy variety of peach with a good amount of sweetness. They are large and easy to pit, making them great for canning.

 SUGAR MAY

Sugar May peaches are extremely juicy and full of flavor. They are harvest ready in mid June.

RED HAVEN 

Red Haven peaches are often the variety that other peaches are compared to. They are typically ready at the end of July or beginning of August. They are juicy with a good flavor and are great for canning and cooking.

 TANGOS DONUT

Donut peaches have a candy-like sweetness. They are great for eating fresh, but can also be used for various types of cooking and desserts.

Saturn Donut peaches have a tangy flavor, great for making desserts. They ripen in late July, early August.

 SNOW GIANT 

Snow Giant peaches are juicy and have a sweet taste. They’re ready for harvest in early July.

 MANON

Manon peaches are typically ripe the first of July. They are extremely sweet, making them great for eating fresh.

 JOHN BOY

The John Boy variety is large in size and packed with flavor.

 FLAMIN FURY

This peach has such a strong, juicy flavor that it makes it perfect for ice cream or sorbet.

 ENCORE

Encore peaches are ready at the very end of the harvest season. These less-juicy peaches are perfect for freezing or preserving.
